AET Amish Emergency Transport - Invoice Terms and Conditions

Please review the following terms and conditions carefully. By accepting services from Amish Emergency Transport (AET), you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Payment Terms

  • Payment Due Upon Service Completion: All payments for services rendered are due in full, in cash, upon arrival at the destination and completion of the ride.

  • Accepted Payment Method: Payment is accepted in cash only, directly to the Independent Contractor Driver at the time of service completion.

  • Reporting Discrepancies: Any discrepancies between the billed amount and the payment collected must be immediately reported by the Contractor to AET dispatch for logging and resolution.

2. Pricing and Charges

  • Current Rates: Services are charged according to the AET Driver Program Fee Schedule, which is subject to updates with reasonable notice. Current rates are as follows:

    • Non-Emergency Rate:

      • Drive Time: $20.00 Per Hour

      • Mileage Charge: $0.50 Per Mile


  • No Higher Charges: Drivers are strictly prohibited from charging customers rates higher than those listed in the AET Driver Program Fee Schedule.

  • Discounts: While drivers may offer discounts, any such discount must be communicated to AET dispatch immediately to ensure accurate billing and record-keeping.

3. Late Payments / Unpaid Invoices

  • Overdue Accounts: In the event that payment is not received at the time of service completion, the invoice will be considered overdue.

  • Collection Efforts: AET reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies for the collection of unpaid invoices, including but not limited to, engaging collection agencies or pursuing legal action. All costs associated with collection efforts, including reasonable attorney fees, may be added to the outstanding balance.

4. Service Disclaimer

  • Independent Contractor Services: Transportation services are provided by independent contractor drivers. AET acts solely as a dispatch service.

  • Insurance Claims: Insurance claims related to incidents during rides dispatched through Amish Emergency Transportation are handled through the driver's and passenger's respective insurance companies. AET holds no responsibility to drivers or passengers during rides dispatched through Amish Emergency Transportation.

5. Disputes

  • Billing Disputes: Any disputes regarding billing or services must be brought to the attention of AET management within 24 hours of the service date.

  • Resolution: AET will review all disputes in good faith and work towards a fair resolution.

6. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New York State, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
